August, 2026 — MatrixOrigin, an AI-native enterprise infrastructure company, today announced that it has completed a Series A funding round of more than $10 million. The round was backed by a fund led by HAND (SZSE: 300170), AsiaCom (SZSE: 301085) and Artesian Venture Partners.
The Series A follows MatrixOrigin’s Pre-A+ round completed in 2025, marking the company’s second major capital raise within one year. The new funding will accelerate the development of MatrixOne Intelligence, support MatrixOrigin’s global expansion, and help enterprises deploy AI applications at scale.
The round brings together strategic industry investors and international venture capital around the next phase of enterprise AI infrastructure. As AI moves into enterprise-scale adoption, infrastructure will shape how effectively enterprises turn data into intelligence and AI capabilities into business value.
After the model boom, enterprise AI competition returns to infrastructure
Large language models opened the door for enterprise AI. The next challenge is turning AI capabilities into systems that enterprises can deploy, manage, and scale.
As AI moves into production, the bottleneck is no longer only model performance. Enterprises need a unified foundation to connect data, AI services, and applications — enabling them to unlock the value of enterprise data and run intelligent systems at scale.
The next generation of enterprise software will be built on AI infrastructure that brings together data, AI, and agents.
From data platform to AI infrastructure: the MatrixOrigin approach
Founded in 2021, MatrixOrigin set out to build the infrastructure layer for enterprise AI. Its MatrixOne Intelligence platform brings together data, AI services, and Agent Runtime on an AI-native architecture, giving enterprises a unified foundation to build and scale intelligent systems.
Traditional enterprise AI architectures often rely on separate systems for databases, data platforms, AI platforms, and agent applications. As AI adoption grows, this fragmented approach creates additional complexity and limits scalability.
MatrixOne Intelligence unifies these capabilities into a single platform, helping enterprises connect data, AI, and agents in one environment. By enabling enterprises to manage AI within their own data boundaries and governance frameworks, MatrixOne Intelligence also provides a foundation for sovereign AI.
The platform is now deployed across manufacturing, energy, healthcare, internet services, and semiconductor industries, serving more than 100 enterprise customers worldwide.
Why strategic and international capital moved at the same time
Prior to this round, MatrixOrigin had received investment from institutions including 5Y Capital, K2VC, Eastern Bell Capital, Welight Capital, FountainBridge Capital, and VNET Group.
The three new investors bring complementary strengths across the enterprise AI ecosystem, spanning enterprise digital transformation, AI computing infrastructure, and global technology networks.
HAND (SZSE: 300170) provides enterprise digital and intelligent solutions, with deep experience across enterprise applications and digital transformation.
“Enterprise AI is moving from isolated experiments toward scaled adoption,” said Huang Geng, COO of HAND. “From our experience working with enterprises, we believe AI transformation is fundamentally a systems challenge. Computing, models, data, platforms, and AI applications need to work together with business processes to create real value.
By combining HAND’s industry expertise and enterprise application capabilities with MatrixOrigin’s data infrastructure technology, we aim to help enterprises build AI capabilities from infrastructure to applications.”
AsiaCom (SZSE: 301085) provides end-to-end computing infrastructure services, supporting AI infrastructure deployment and operations across global markets, including North America, Europe, and Southeast Asia.
“As enterprise AI moves from model experimentation toward large-scale deployment of agents and applications, infrastructure will become increasingly important,” said AsiaCom’s Head of Strategic Investment. “AsiaCom brings experience in global AI infrastructure operations, GPU cluster deployment, and enterprise services, while MatrixOrigin provides capabilities in generating, managing, and connecting high-value AI tokens with real-world applications.
Together, we aim to connect computing infrastructure, model services, AI tokens, agents, and applications to accelerate enterprise AI adoption.”
Artesian Venture Partners, headquartered in Australia, is a global alternative investment management firm focused on venture capital, debt, and impact investment strategies, with more than $1.3 billion in assets under management. The investment strengthens Artesian’s focus on emerging technologies and provides MatrixOrigin with access to its global network across Asia Pacific, Europe, and North America.
“As enterprise AI moves toward large-scale agent deployment, the ability to unify data, memory, state, and governance will become increasingly important,” said Fiona Zheng, Head of China Investments at Artesian Venture Partners. “MatrixOne Intelligence differentiates itself through its unified multimodal data foundation, Git-for-Data, and Agent Runtime, with early validation in China and the Middle East.
With its international team and partner-driven approach, MatrixOne Intelligence has the potential to become a significant enterprise AI infrastructure platform for data-sovereignty markets worldwide.”
From core technology innovation to long-term AI infrastructure
“AI is driving a new generation of enterprise software,” said Wang Long, Founder and CEO of MatrixOrigin. “Enterprises will need unified infrastructure for data, AI, and agents — infrastructure that allows AI capabilities to continuously evolve and become deeply integrated into business operations.
From the beginning, we have focused on building foundational technologies for enterprise AI. From our unified data architecture to our AI-native platform and today’s MatrixOne Intelligence, we have continued to develop the infrastructure needed for the AI era.
This funding will accelerate the evolution of MatrixOne Intelligence and our global expansion. With the support of our investors, customers, and ecosystem partners, we will continue investing in core technology innovation and advancing the adoption of enterprise AI at scale.”
The global race in enterprise AI infrastructure is accelerating
Enterprise software is entering an AI-native era. Companies including Databricks, Snowflake, and Palantir are expanding their AI infrastructure capabilities, building unified platforms that connect data, AI, and intelligent applications.
As enterprises scale AI adoption, integrated AI infrastructure is expected to become a new foundation layer for enterprise software — following the evolution of cloud computing and big data.
MatrixOrigin’s Series A marks a new stage in its mission to build enterprise AI infrastructure and contribute to the next generation of enterprise software.
