Wang began by reflecting on his 15 years of experience in big data, underscoring the pivotal role of data in the digital realm. He emphasized that data, as a critical element of digital transformation, has driven technological evolution from early computational networks to modern cloud and edge computing. Inspired by this perspective, Matrix Origin is dedicated to helping enterprises effectively manage and leverage data to drive business value.

Next, Wang delved into the recent surge in large model technology, noting that over the past two years, significant investments in the information technology sector have largely focused on developing and training large models, marking the advent of the reasoning-computation era. In this new era, application development for enterprises has shifted dramatically from traditional server- and code-based models to in-depth interaction with large models, presenting enterprises with both new opportunities and challenges.

Addressing these challenges, Wang highlighted data governance and management as the primary obstacles for most enterprises in implementing large model applications. Despite the capacity of large model technology to streamline data platform architectures, issues such as data fragmentation, integration difficulties, and high processing costs persist. Wang pointed out that as enterprises push for the implementation of large models, they continue to face long-standing data governance challenges, including the diversity of data sources and rapid data growth.

This challenge catalyzed the partnership between Matrix Origin and 21Vianet. By combining their respective strengths, the two companies aim to build a new software layer that effectively bridges hardware and AI applications, addressing enterprises' challenges in data management and computational deployment. Particularly within the “Hyper-Connectivity Intelligent Computing” project, they co-developed an ultra-high-speed network architecture to enable seamless integration of data and computational resources nationwide. This architecture not only boosts data processing efficiency but also ensures data security for enterprises.

Wang also shared preliminary success stories from their collaboration. Experimental projects have been deployed in data centers across Suzhou, Taicang, Beijing, and Shanghai. Through this network architecture, enterprises can access required computing resources securely and efficiently from any location, fully harnessing the value of data through distributed training and learning.

The success of this launch event showcased Matrix Origin’s innovation in data governance and large model applications and highlighted its close partnership with 21Vianet. Together, the two companies will drive the implementation of next-generation intelligent computing architecture, supporting enterprises on their path to digital transformation and greater success.
